House Remodel and rearranging: Take 436

Our house has been under remodel, er demo, for just over two years. I'll post before and after pictures as I finish things. I had the *stellar* idea of doing the remodeling myself since my work allows for time off whenever I want it.

I suspect the pregnancy is causing my uncontrollable urges to relocate the two nice pieces of furniture in the house. It goes like this (queue dream trance music)- "The couch will look great by the back wall! We can hang art on it and have a great view of the aquarium!" ...a few days later... "I miss being able to look out the window from the center of the living room... I know, I'll move the sofa back to where it was. That was the best place for it anyway."
...a few days later, aka last night... It's just past midnight and I can't stop thinking about how nice the sofa would look against the window. Final resting place- against the window where I maximize the space in the room, view out the window and into the aquarium, and exposea large art wall that will some day, hopefully soon, be filled with incredible Ido Masterworks. I know it drives Ido insane, but at least he complains while he's helping me shuffle things around instead of refusing to help all together. He knows I'm a little crazy right now (The insanity is temporary, honest...)

The two nice pieces of furniture we own =
Couch and Toe Grabbing Fun nubby carpet.

Also, it's going to be 80deg in Woodinville today. I've had a list of 'Things to do on the next sunny day' for about a week and a half. Today is the day! My Mother is out training the rooster to crow for food. He sits under the window off the dining room and crows until she throws down bread or other tasty treats. He picks up the piece of treat and holds it in his beak while clucking the dinner bell to his brood. The girls come running from all over the yard (we have 8 chickens) to help him hunt for treats. Once his girls are close by hunting for treats, he starts to eat and hunt for himself. He's a good man.

Rooster lovingly known as Tranny Anny. We picked this chick out
of stock from the feed store the same as the others- 95% sexed to
favor females. It wasn't long before he/she started to tower
above the other chicks and wear a size 11 shoe.

Of Moths

Ido bought me a fancy Micro lens for the fancy camera he gave me. Now I run around like a crazy lady with a cyborg camera eye.

The best part- In the grass a few weeks ago I was lucky enough to find these mating Cerisy's Sphinx, also called One Eyed Sphinx. These two started mating the previous night and remained in copula until the evening of the next day. Incredible stamina! The moth in focus is the male. Pairing is especially important to the female because she usually does not fly until after mating.
